Pronghorn Records

Pronghorn Records is an independent record label based in Gravelbourg, Saskatchewan. Founded as a home for thoughtfully made, roots-driven music, the label is focused on releasing honest songs, distinctive recordings, and projects built with care.

Pronghorn Records was established by singer-songwriter and producer Scott Richmond and his wife, Erica, to support the release of Scott’s music and the long-awaited album he has developed over many years. Rooted in the Canadian Prairies, the label reflects the same qualities found in the music it represents: independence, perseverance, authenticity, and a strong sense of place.

Its first release, Scott Richmond’s single “Lips to Lips,” blends elements of Americana, folk, country, rock, and soul. It marks the beginning of a new chapter for Scott and for Pronghorn Records, with more music to come.

Beyond its own releases, Pronghorn Records is committed to nurturing musical life in Gravelbourg and the surrounding area. Through mentoring young musicians and creating opportunities to explore songwriting, recording, and live performance, the label hopes to help emerging artists develop their skills, build confidence, and discover the possibilities of making and sharing original music.
